Every student deserves to succeed.
My mission is to advocate for effective policies and initiatives that support student success and community involvement.
I am rooted in a military family tradition, with my son and three grandsons continuing to serve our country, I have dedicated 20 years as a Skagit resident to community advocacy and leadership. My volunteer work includes preparing, cooking, and serving meals at Friendship House, strengthening community bonds. As the founder and operator of a nonprofit LLC, I provided essential services to young mothers that enhanced resource support for vulnerable families. Additionally, at Sedro-Woolley’s maternity house, I mentored mothers and coordinated transportation. These efforts reflect my commitment to collaborative leadership and policy-driven change, equipping me to champion equitable outcomes in community advocacy roles, such as a school board member.
